Bolt Mountain Llamas

For a while now searching Google for Bolt Mountain, my site has been at #2. Second to a site entitled Bolt Mountain Llamas. No relation to this Bolt Mountain. At any rate I was at a friends house yesterday I hadn’t seen in a while. He has a small farm with a few different animals. His name is Jonathan and he obviously loves his animals. I bet growing up his mom never knew what he would bring home next. Three of his animals are llamas. I had never been around a llama before but they are actually kind of cool and at least my friends were quite docile and smart. At least they had the sense to get in out of the rain along with the miniature pony, three turkeys and some chickens. The guy with the camera was standing in the rain. :)

My friend also built this really cool old style workshop. I would like to have one of these at my house only larger. His is small but still pretty cool.
Jonathan and his family actually live in Glen Daniels which is just a couple miles east of here. Now that I have a post about Bolt Mountain Llamas I wonder if I can give the top site a run for it’s money?

I wish we’d get some rain up here. We really need some.

Cool pictures though. Like all good artists, you know you sometimes have to sacrifice (in this case stand in the rain) to create your art.

Hello, I am Jonathan’s wife, Amanda. I had no clue this site existed. It is very nice. There are so many beautiful pictures of this area on here. I hope you enjoyed looking at our animals!

Jonathan is my nephew and yes, his mom never knew what to expect. He has loved animals since he was very small and was never scared of any of them.

Thanx for commenting all…

Kristine - we need rain here to… bad. The woods are a disaster right now. It seems like this is the only time I have been able to get animals to be still enough for a photo. :)

Amanda, I hope you and Jonathan enjoyed the post. And yes I did enjoy visiting. I would like to get some closer photos some time.

Curlygurly, I expected as much on bringing things home. It is good to love animals… :)

Thanks for commenting.

btw - I have another site too you might like. I run my mouth a lot there but it has to do mainly with the Bolt Mountain area as well. BackWoods Drifter

Hi, I’m Jonathan’s mom. He started out loving bugs, then hamsters, mice, etc. Then as you see, as he grew so did the creatures. Your site is very nice. I like the pictures of the nature in our area.

Thanx for commenting Jonathan’s Mom :) I’m glad to get traffic to my site from area residents. I don’t really think too many people in the Bolt Mountain area know this site exists. A lot of other people do though. Stop by anytime. :)
