Bolt Mountain, West Virginia | The BackWoods Drifter

Scenic West Virginia

There is a reason why I no longer go camping without my camera. It is the same reason I love hiking West Virginia’s backwoods - the scenery.

Of course I can’t go into the Peachtree area on a photo taking adventure and not stop at Peachtree Falls.

Last but definitely not least, this turtle was practically begging for his picture to be taken.

In the pictures of hiking Drew’s Creek, did you take June Court to get to the top of the mountain? I can’t believe that there are pictures of where my family is from in the internet. That’s so wierd because Nobody knows about this place.

Hi Katy - Actually on that day I went up through Spring Hollow. But I have been back a couple times since then by way of June Court. I have a few photos on the Backwoods drifter site from that area.
