I’ve been all over the place taking photos of the different flowers in bloom but as yet had not taken any from around my house.
I’m a big fan of Iris and have it growing all along my front porch.
I have talked about my little Rhododendron bush before. I planted it towards the end of summer last year and was concerned on whether or not it would survive. They can be quite temperamental and at times just flat refuse to grow. Although it didn’t bloom this year I expect it to next year.
Iris is the state flower of Tennessee and Rhododendron is the state flower of West Virginia.
Mountain flowers are so pretty. I have a great Rhododendron in my front yard. Gorgeous pink blossoms.
I love the Iris flower. I just think it is such a beautiful color.
